Bye Bye Blackbird....

 

satisfactory excuse such as two separate birthday parties, one for my niece and another for my nephew, was the reason I visited the Children's farm initially, and absolutely delighted to discover the joys of this park - it truly is a place that not only children will want to experience, but families will enjoy together.

 

Personally, its reminiscent of own childhood holidays - the sights and smells of my nannas house and land in the country.  The stress of the daily peak hour commute gone in moments!

 

I have to confess I've been back on my own since - it's so therapeutic for us oldies to get outside and play too!

Coopers settlement is located in the largest park in the Northern suburbs, and absolutely filled with lots of interesting things to see & do. As well as the children's farm there are playgrounds, hay rides, a heritage village, golf course, historic homestead art centre and a wildlife reserve.
