Image Location: Spavin Drive, Lake Sunbury: The dam, which was originally made to source water for the historic Rupertswood Mansion, primarily served as a home for water birds, and offered a diversity of habitats.
I would venture there many an early weekend morning down to Lake Sunbury, with my thermos of coffee and enjoy the view and the glorious geese! My last trip there, (last summer 2013-2014), I discovered the lake has now gone! I will keep you posted!
