Brass Monkey Hotel (Formerly Great Western Hotel) Historically one of the most lavish hotels constructed in Perth in the Gold Boom period, it provided accommodation particularly for those travelling to the Goldfields by rail.

Fremantle, Perth; WA's only World Heritage listed building. The Old Fremantle Prison is one of the most haunted places in WA. The Prison originally held some of the most notorious and violent criminals in the country. Forty-four people were executed there over the years and the gallows room is very creepy.

The Fremantle Arts Centre used to be a mental asylum in the early 1800's. It was converted into a women's home for poor and elderly women in 1909. The building was refurbished and renovated in the 1950's and in 1973 became a museum for the arts. ~Dee Muzzi Photography
