"The Shoal Fly-by"

“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed.”
Ansel Adams

Post Modernism - Shaken Not Stirred

"Two of the most frustrated trades are dentists and photographers - dentists because they want to be doctors, and photographers because they want to be painters" ~~Pablo Picasso"

Night photography. Again no tripod - just a happy experimentation with photography. See image>> "The Shoal Fly By" public art sculpture, Docklands, as appears to naked eye, Yes it is the same! How else would you photograph that? :)   A very difficult sculpture to photograph.  Often I surf the net to see other examples of a site/sculpture or location - all part of the learning curve, and there are many amazing 'photographic' representations of sculptural artworks to be found.  This is one image, though artistically, I'm very happy with, as I feel I've done my best to convey the true 'essence' of the sculptural piece - i.e. water, movement, aquatic life, caught in fish net etc.
