Lake named after the former tuberculosis Sanatorium built in 1899

Again another treat, for how much I walked that day in 2008. Why I love photography: being able to keep a permanent record/ 'moment' of beauty. 2014 yielded no new photographs, I'm only thankful for these previous shots I had taken 4 years earlier

No photos taken this second visit, preferring to remember how it was in the image above, back in 2008, though in hindsight perhaps I should have.  Speaking of another photo missed: You may bump into the rich and famous!  Not being a rude paparazzo, I regrettably didnt take that shot of a famous celeb at the very next pub table, either. Shame! *wink* :)

Lake Sanitorium (Time for Reflection series).  When I took this photo in Nov 08,    I simply chose the the first path I came across, unaware it was a horse trail till the end, and believe me, the slight descent down became absolute hell getting back! The unexpected breathtaking view was definitely worth the effort though! In 2014 excitedly visiting with another by my side, I  discovered a closer entrance, but as is often the case, only to be absolutely gutted at the condition the lake is in today.
