Dee​

If you cover the area immediately surrounding Stony Creek Reserve you'll be crossing borders into Yarraville, Spotswood, Newport, Port Melbourne and Seddon, and possibly following the same steps as actors such as Anthony Hopkins, Toni Collette, Russell Crowe, (Spotswood 1992) and Mel Gibson (Mad Max 1979).
 

The fun filled Scienceworks museum, & Melbourne Planitarium is housed in the nearby historic Spotswood Pumping Station, and should be a "must" on your visit, but even these back streets of Melbourne provide ample photographic opportunity and "time for reflection".

 

Access to Stony Creek Reserve is via Hyde St, Yarraville.
