Jan Mitchell's Bollards, Geelong
Jan Mitchell’s (1940–2008) Waterfront Bollards are made out of huge wooden pylons, many recovered from the Yarra Street Pier which was destroyed by fire in the 1980s, are hand painted and depict the people and events of Geelong. An icon of Geelong, 100 bollards line the waterfront from Rippleside to Limeburners Point.
